Had a repair done on my Forester recently. I was impressed with their service.

I hadn't really done much maintenance on my 2009 Subaru Outback and the clutch went out at about 70K miles. Turns out it was the throwout bearing, my head gasket was shot, my timing belt was toast, my water pump was shot, etc. etc. etc. John found ways to bundle everything together that saved me a lot of $$$ compared to doing the projects individually. After googling prices of the various services I estimate that it would have easily cost twice as much if I would have done it at a dealership. John was very straightforward on what should be done, what had to be done, and what would have to be done in the future (and when). He gave me all the options, so I knew exactly what it would cost. I never felt like I was being upsold on anything, and as a result I had them do pretty much everything they recommended. After they got done with my car, it seems to now run even better than it did when it was brand new! Will definitely be going back next time my Outback needs maintenance, and would highly recommend Accolade Auto for any kind of Subaru service.

Easily the best car-buying experience I've ever had. The process was transparent and I never felt like I was being pressured like I have at every other dealership I've shopped at. Absolutely my first choice for buying a car.

Outstanding service on my Subaru and my daughter's. Honest, fair and reasonable! High quality work. I won't take my Subaru anywhere else.

Accolade auto is a Subaru dealership but they were still able to help me with some body work on my 2017 mustang for an extremely fair price, highly recommend accolade auto to anyone.

I've been extremely happy with Jon and his approach to quality service. He is a rare and genuine person. The world needs more people like him. After my purchase experience, I recommended Accolade to my sister, who's now also happy driving another great pre-owned Subaru. I recommend Jon and Accolade with complete confidence.

Been coming here for maintenance on our Subaru outback since we bought it from them about 5 yrs ago ...they also been doing what ever repairs I need on my older (92) legacy with 267000 miles (bought from Craigslist) and every time the work is done right the first time in the amount of time or very near to the amount of time estimated for an incredibly decent price ....if you looking for great deals on great cars without all the nonsence go see Jon at accolade auto you won't be disappointed ....

Listen up, amigos, Accolade rocks! I've waited 4 months to write a review to see how the 2009 Subaru Forester car I bought from Accolade would work out. OK, after 5 months and just finishing a trip from Portland to Wisconsin pulling a U-Haul trailer, I'm ready to testify! Great car, great people. I connected with Accolade when I flew from Madison to Portland to help out my daughter who had just totaled her VW Jetta. Needed a car quick. She wanted a Subaru. Looked at dealers but all we saw were used models priced almost as high as new ones. And buying used, who can you trust? I'm no auto expert. Found Accolade on the web. They had a few used Foresters at good prices. They specialize in repairing and selling Subarus. And it appeared that they put time and resources into making sure that the vehicles they offer are checked out, put into good shape and ready to run reliably. OK, I'll check them out. The staff from secretary to salesman to owner were friendly, knowledgeable, frank, and helpful. No hard sell, no pushing, jsut straightforward counsel. The Forester we wanted drove well, looked good, and had been serviced impeccably (at least according to the paperwork). We bought it and I headed back to Madison. My daughter then drove the car to work for the 5 months left in her job. No problems. But how would it make the trip from Portland to Wisconsin, pulling a trailer? I worried about the transmission. It rocked! Pulled great, tight steering and firm road handling. No warning lights. No funny noises. Smooth sailing even through 104 degree heat in the Columbia Gorge and some some really nasty rain and wind in South Dakota. Bottom line: Accolade sold us a great car and prepped it great. What a pleasure to deal with people who are a bright exception to the too often accurate stereotype of used car dealers as untrustworthy a-holes looking to get as much as they can for a lousy product (alas, I've been there). If you want a used car from people you can have confidence in, I have no hesitation in telling you to go to Accolade.

Honest, fair, friendly, a pleasure to do business with. Bent over backwards to make us happy. Highly recommend Jon to anyone looking for a Subaru or needing work done. Couldn’t be happier with our experience here.

Awesome people who are confident about the quality of their cars! Every car they get, they make all the necessary fixes and do all the maintenance need before it's on the lot! They definitely value quality. After I bought my forester from them I noticed a super small issue with the power window switch and they told me to bring it in and they would fix it no charge! Just a great business with great people!
