Simply Astounding! What consumers have come to expect from a car buying experience is absolutely knocked out of the water by Jon at Accolade Auto. Our old Subaru Impreza was dying from years of abuse, which it took well. Gaining over 250K on the odometer and new baby we decided to upgrade to an Outback. My husband found the car he wanted from a craigslist posting. In March of 2010 we went to the dealership: friendly but guarded with the expectation of sleek pushy salesmen. When we met Jon we were looking at two different Outbacks within our price range trying to decide which one was “cooler”. He unlocked both and I think he even gave us the keys while he ran back inside to attend to other business. We were left to talk and decide on which one we wanted, for as long as we wanted, and that took a while. After going for a test drive in the “cooler” of the two, we went back in to haggle over price and trade in. There was not much haggling to be had, we came with financing, and our trade in car was a POS that I was happy to get $300 for. During the test drive I noticed the alignment was off and Jon said he could get his guys to fix it for less the $50. I agreed that was an amazing price and asked him to have it done before we picked it up. Buying the car was so smooth and issue free, he never came close to irritating my husband who growls at the all sorts of salesman. Talk about awesome! But that’s not even the best part. Just over a year later I find out the head gasket needs replacing. No I’m not happy, but I’m not irritated with Jon either, the outback has over 100K on it and this is part of dealing with a used car. Even so, I called Jon in case he might remember who had worked on the car before we bought it. Now remember this is over a year later. He remembered who I was! In the middle of explaining why I called, he asked my name and says “Rebecca oh yeah you bought an outback 2000 or 2001 about a year ago right”. Yeah I did! Could he have quickly searched his database? Probably not that fast. He gave me the info I needed and will be helping us out with his mechanics who are SOOOO much cheaper than the dealership. This guy is simply astounding. And he has won a customer for life.

I discovered Accolade Auto through my friend who had purchased his car 2 years ago from Accolade and referred me to Jon Finwall. I had been driving a company car for the last several years, and it had a long time since I bought a car. I was admittedly not looking forward to the whole tedious car-search process and dealing with 'typical' car salesmen, but I can now confidently say that Jon is unlike any other Auto salesperson I have ever encountered. He made the whole experience easy, enjoyable, and most importantly honest. His communication was excellent, his knowledge of cars thorough, and his approach very friendly and neighborly. I did not ever feel like I was getting upsold or taken advantage of. When it came time to settle on the car, Jon found me a great Acura and even put new tires on it for me, because he said that's how it should have come. I can still call him with any questions and he is there and genuinely cares about his customers. That's excellent service. Highly recommended.
